Woodrow “Woody” Wilson Judd, age 81, of Madison, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, on March 27, 2024. He was born on February 1, 1943, in Levi, Kentucky to parents Thomas and Elizabeth Judd. After graduating high school, Woody served as a Tank Man in the United States Army. He later retired after 30 years from Stanley Air Tool, and he was a shop steward of 507 teamsters.

On December 15, 2011, he married Maryann Zorn and together they were able to spend an inseparabl­e 24 years of love.

Woody had many hobbies he was able to enjoy during his life. He loved to ride his motorcycle and drive his ‘40 Ford Hot Rod. He had the voice of an angel and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing for everyone. Woody recorded many different songs that he wrote himself. Being surrounded by his family and friends was what Woody lived for, it brought him so much joy to be with the people he loved.

Woody’s true passion in life was for the Lord. He was able to travel to many different churches for Gospel singing, preaching and teaching Bible studies.

Woody is survived by his wife, Maryann Zorn Judd; children, Joyce (Mark) Rauth, Paul (Trish) Judd, Matthew Judd, David Judd, Betsy (Jeff) Slaviero, Robert (Theresa) Zorn, Alesia (Kris) Palmer, Michille (Jason) Kellhofer; siblings, Jerry (Diane) Judd, Juanita (Dave) Landeg, Alpha Barrett, Louise Peace; many grandchild­ren, greatgrand­children, great-great grandchild­ren, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Peggy Literal and Betty (Erv) Will.

A visitation will be held from 10-12pm, with a service to follow, on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at Church of God, 5544 E. Heisley Road, Mentor, Ohio. Burial will take place immediatel­y after the service at Arcola cemetery, Madison, Ohio.
