Barbara Minuti

-

REHOBOTH BEACH - Barbara L. Minuti was an angel far before she was called to heaven on February 6, 2024. Born on October 20, 1940 in Wilmington to the late

Henry Jacob Zaborowski and Hedwig Czarnecka Zaborowski, she lived a life driven by love. In 1959, she married her soulmate, Joe. Together they had three children, cared for several pets, made countless friends, and were the proud grandparents to five grandchildren.

Despite being the most petite person in the room, lil’ Barb was always the one with the largest heart. She never hesitated to go above and beyond to make her loved ones feel supported. Whether first in line at school pick-up, at sports games an hour early, sitting front row at graduation, or on the other end of a phone call, Barbara always showed up as your biggest cheerleader to make you feel special.

Barbara’s generosity never went unnoticed. She opened her home for yearly family gatherings, never missed a birthday or celebration, and handed out valuable advice to anyone who needed it. Everyone who knew Barbara can attest that she lived her life by putting others first.

As her family grew, the care for her loved ones became her full time job. Her devoted husband Joseph F. Minuti, children Joseph A. Minuti Sr., Mark Minuti (Denise), and Andrea Wakefield (Grier), and grandchildren Joseph A. Minuti Jr., Nicholas Minuti, Andrew Minuti, Grier Henry Wakefield (Katherine), and Amanda Reid Wakefield, brother William Zaborowski, and cousin Robin Robino Mabrey (Alan), will never forget the way she lit up the room with her bright blue eyes and heart of gold.

There won’t be a day that we don’t feel Barbara’s support, cherish her memories, and feel comfort from her love.

Funeral services are private.
