Berkshire Hathaway sponsors La Bamba with the Stars

NORWALK — Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties’ Norwalk and Rowayton offices will hold La Bamba with the Stars on Oct. 12 at Norwalk Concert Hall.

All of the proceeds will benefit The Sunshine Kids Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping kids with cancer.

“A fun evening with live music, movie stars and a great movie is the best way to raise funds and awareness for The Sunshine Kids, an organization dedicated to bringing joy to the lives of young cancer patients,” said Nancy Pantoliano, the office leader of the Norwalk and Rowayton offices.

The event will features special guests, including G. W.Bailey, Rosanna DeSoto and Bob Picardo (Star availability is subject to change).

The admission of $35 includes live music featuring The Torres Trio, hors d’oeuvres, a signature cocktail, a silent auction, a movie and celebrity Q&A.

The event on Oct. 12 will be at 125 East Ave. at Concert Hall in Norwalk. Doors open at 6:45 p.m. VIP pre-event tickets are $100.

In Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., Sunshine Kids works with children being treated for cancer at both, Connecticut and New York hospitals. The money raised will be used toward trips and activities for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids family is dedicated to providing the most exciting activities, trips and events, free of charge, for as many young cancer patients as possible.
