Ask the residents of 260 Willow St. in Southport what is their favorite space in the home, and each one is likely to give a different answer.
“Each person in my family has a particular spot that calls to them,” said the owner. “My father loves sunning himself on his deck with the pool and harbor in the background, my husband loves the top floor where he can look out at the view or escape to read. I love having our friends and family in the enclosed Spanish terrace with its fire pit and comfy sofas and where we can eat al fresco.”

The house is just a walk to town, the train station, library, beaches, and yacht club. The owner’s boys also enjoyed launching their boat right from the end of the road.
“I’m going to miss the friendly neighborhood where friends drop in,” she added. “Most of all we will all miss the setting of our house and how well it fits in that setting. It is a joy to come home to.”
The owners did extensive renovations on the home, adding gardens and bringing light and warmth into the interior, creating an exceptional setting for entertaining.
