State Rep. Bob Godfrey is running for a 16th term representing downtown Danbury in Connecticut’s House of Representatives. As deputy speaker protempore, Godfrey serves on the Judiciary Committee, the Joint Committee on Legislative Management, and the Executive and Legislative Nominations Committee. A Democrat, Godfrey is the senior member of Danbury’s state delegation, representing the 110th District.
A graduate of Immaculate High School in Danbury, Godfrey earned a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University Of Connecticut School of Law. Among his recent legislative are the Gun Violence and Children’s Safety Act, Labeling of GMOs Act, the Chronic Disease Care Act, and legislation to increase the minimum wage and place restrictions on e-cigarettes.

Democrat Aimee Berger-Girvalo is seeking a first term to represent the 111th House District, which includes the entire city of Ridgefield.
Among Berger-Girvalo’s priorities are COVID-19 recovery and keeping families safe and ensuring our economy fully rebounds from the pandemic, access to healthcare to accommodate the need for affordable and accessible healthcare options, and because she is an applied behavior analysis therapist who works with kids on a daily basis and a mother, education is a top priority.
Berger-Girvalo has been a member of the Ridgefield Democratic Town Committee for four years. She is an active participant in our democracy and political process “for the betterment of our community.”
Berger-Girvalo is an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapist, providing inhome and in-school behavioral and educational services to children on the Autism Spectrum.
Berger-Girvalo resides in Ridgefield and is a proud mother of two children - Gracie and Austin. Gracie is a sophomore in college and Austin started his freshman year at Ridgefield High.
