Frank J. Fehling III, 54, beloved father of Crystal, Frank, and Victoria, passed away suddenly in his home on March 29, 2021.

Frank was born in New York, son of Veronica J. Fehling and the late Frank J. Fehling. Frank graduated from Western Connecticu­t State University with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling. He worked as a Clinician at Liberation Programs, Inc.

Frank was an avid outdoorsma­n who loved to fish, camp, and spend time with nature. Frank earned his Eagle Scout Award with Boy Scout Troop 42 in New Fairfield. He had a great passion for supporting the Wounded Warrior Project and the Shriners Hospital for Children. Frank also loved and devoted much of his time to his family and friends, of which he had many. Those who knew him well understood how important and meaningful it was to give and receive support. Frank will be dearly missed by all.

In addition to his children, Frank is survived by his mother, Veronica Fehling, his brother, Paul Fehling and wife, Lisa, of New Fairfield, his sister, Karen Stavac and husband, Chris Stavac, of Milford, NJ, and his nieces and nephews Paul, Lauren, Christophe­r, Matthew, and Luke.

Due to COVID- 19 restrictio­ns calling hours will be held privately at Green Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial (reservatio­n only) will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Edward The Confessor Church, 21 Brush Hill Rd., New Fairfield, CT 06812. Please contact the family if your wishes are to attend. Burial will immediatel­y follow at Mountain View Cemetery New Fairfield, CT.
