Connecticu­t’s most expensive real estate listings going into 2024

most expensive properties range from ocean-side mansions to a castle surrounded by a moat. Going into the new year, Greenwich took the crown in the Nutmeg State, having nine out of ten of the most expensive properties listed for sale, according to Zillow.

Here are the 10 most expensive listings in the state going into January 2024, according to data obtained by Zillow:

The house at 545 Indian Field Road hit the market again this year, for the first time since 2012. With over 12,000 square feet of space on 1.6 acres of land, the house boasts six bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a private beach, a dock, an exercise room, a waterfront pool and stone-paved waterside terraces.

The house is listed for $51,995,000 by Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty.

The 18 Simmons Lane Unit R is listed by Compass for $24.5 million.

The 18,000-squarefoot French American estate at 471 Lake Ave. in Greenwich and has features like a woodpanele­d library, a spiral staircase and kitchen with a custom blue Lacanche stove. The house was designed by Wadia & Associates, a New Canaan real estate company that specialize­s in luxury real estate and uses materials imported from Europe, according to the listing. It sits on 3 acres.

The property is listed by Sotheby’s Internatio­nal Realty — Greenwich Brokerage for $22 million.
