UBS said to restrict China travel
UBS, the world’s largest wealth manager that has about 900 employees in Stamford, has asked some bankers not travel to China after one of its employees was detained in the country, according to Bloomberg, citing unnamed sources. It’s not clear under what circumstances the Singapore-based employee was detained and whether the person has been released, the sources said. A spokesman for UBS, Switzerland’s largest bank, declined
to comment on the ban and detention.
