Lauren Thompson, Sacred Heart Acad- emy: The sophomore had 27 points off the bench, including 5 3-pointers in 83-48 win over Stamford.

Kenzie Sirowich, Seymour: The senior had a career-high 37 points along with 14 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals in a 73-50 win against Wolcott.

Jaylice Rosario, Maloney: Rosario started her first two games at Maloney in style with 29 points and 19 rebounds against South Windsor and 25 points and 25 rebounds against Rocky Hill.

Amani Abuhatab, West Haven: The All-State guard got off to a fast start with 24 points 15 rebounds against Stamford and a triple-double with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 12 steals along with 8 assists in a win over Lauralton Hall.

Chloe Sotell, Stamford: Sotell paced a balanced attack with 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists as Stamford got by Pomperaug 60-51.

Valerie Luizzi and Marissa Nudd, Bacon Academy: In Bacon’s 73-58 win over Waterford, Luizzi had 31ponts with 6 3pointers while Nudd added 29 points.

Milly Walker, Waterford: Walker had a double-double with 28 points and 17 rebounds in Waterford's 57-51 loss at New London. She followed that by pouring in 33 points in 73-58 loss to Bacon Academy.

Kaleigh Sommers, Ludlowe: Sommers led the way with 17 points as Ludlowe beat Cheshire 49-31.

Tyah Pettaway, Middletown: Pettaway scored 21 points leading the Blue Dragons to a 63-52 victory over Hall.

Jojo Sanchez, Ansonia: The senior had a game-high 19 points as part of a 52-45 win over Kennedy.

Ciara Collins, Bristol Eastern: Collins had 32 points despite Bristol Eastern falling 57-63 in overtime to Windsor.

Sophie Hedge, Mercy: In a 62-45 win over Law, Hedge scored 27 points.

Tristin Osberg, Windsor Locks: It was a double-double out of the gate with 16 points and 22 rebounds in a 36-34 comefrom-behind win over Thomaston.

Julia Ball, North Haven: Ball had 23 points as North Haven defeated Amistad 69-29.
