GAMES TO WATCH

Darien at Brunswick, Thursday, 7 p.m.: The USA Lacrosse rankings have Brunswick second and the Blue Wave seventh. That's in the nation. Inside Lacrosse also has the Bruins second and pegs Darien 10th. Brunswick has won two entertaining meetings over the past three years, including an overtime win last year.

Wilton at New Canaan, Saturday, 6:30 p.m.: Partly a product of their schedule, the Warriors have been in a win-one-lose-one rut since their Ridgefield win. New Canaan is in one, too, though shorter. They'll each have one more top-10 game to go in the regular season after this one.

Weston at Hand (Surf Club), Saturday, 7 p.m.: A rematch of last year's CIAC Class M final, though it can't happen again this year, as Weston, last year's champ in overtime, was moved down to Class S this season. Both teams have hung out among the 9-10-(11) teams in the GameTimeCT Top 10 Poll through the first month, and they'll get this head-to-head meeting to make their cases.

Yorktown (N.Y.) at Ridgefield, Monday, 6:30 p.m.: Yorktown's third game against a Connecticut team; it lost to Darien 9-8 in double OT and to Wilton 12-7 on Tuesday.

Weston at New Fairfield, Tuesday, 4:45 p.m.: New Fairfield beat the Trojans twice last year, including a drubbing in the SWC final, and Weston hasn't won in this rivalry for a while. Then again, not many teams at all beat New Fairfield for a few years. Weston has put up the more impressive results so far, so could this be the year?
