Visit chooselovemovement.org, and Facebook, Twitter or YouTube for more information.

Jesse Lewis, was a 6 year-old first grade student, a victim of the Sandy Hook tragedy, and whose action saved the lives of nine classmates.

Jesse left behind a message on a household chalkboard, “Nurturing Healing Love,” that became the inspiration for his mother to found the movement.

The organization has a commitment to reach students, educators and individuals, nationally and internationally, and provide them with a simple, yet profound formula for choosing love.

The Choose Love Programs are comprehensive, no cost, lifespan, next-generation social and emotional learning and character development programs. They

teach children and adults how to choose love in any circumstance and help them become connected, resilient, and empowered individuals. These skills, tools and attitudes have been proven through decades of scientific research to be the best way to ensure a healthy, meaningful, and purpose-filled life.

Its signature program, Choose Love For Schools™, is a no-cost infant/toddler through 12th grade curriculum that contains the simple universal teachings of courage, gratitude, forgiveness, and compassion-in-action — the foundational concepts of social and emotional learning. Choose Love For Home™, Choose Love For Communities™, and Choose Love For Athletes™ are also available. Choose Love programming is in all 50 states, 120 countries and serves over 3.5 million children.

Supporting the fundraiser will also provide the attendees with exclusive access to the pavilion where they will meet Scarlett Lewis.

The movement will also have a Choose Love Bus that is expected to ring the fun with Choose Love Formula stations that will have games, activities and crafts that will celebrate courage, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion in action.

The attendees will also be able to dine in the movement’s Choose Love food tent with free hot dogs, burgers, salads, fries, water, soda and birthday cake.

Proceeds will benefit Choose Love programming, which also provides free character social emotional development to help children manage their emotions, feel connected, and have healthy, meaningful relationships.

The movement extends beyond the classroom through additional no cost programs for the home, communities, athletics, and the workplace, and multiple extension programs.

People who are interested in the event, but cannot attend it, and who would like to support the movement, can text JESSE to 41444 or make a donation online at app.mobilecause.com.

The event will be sponsored by Tapping Solution, An Opportunity Knocks and Ingersoll Auto of Danbury.
