Anchorage

Liquor Laws; At approximately 11:02 a.m., Alaska State Troopers with the Anchorage Airport Interdiction Team (AAIT) received a report of the intent to import liquor to the village of Noorvik. Troopers responded and were able to seize a total of 74 bottles of alcohol in Anchorage before the individuals boarded the plane, and an additional 45 bottles along with marijuana, and marijuana concentrate at the Nome airport. Charges of Importation, License or Permit Required, and MICS have been filed for Spencer Pungalik,18, Noorvik, Richard Wells, 29, and Skyler Wells,19.

Nome

Collision Vehicle; At approximately 12:11 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle rollover at mile 36 NomeCouncil Road. Investigation revealed the driver had failed to navigate a curve in the dirt road causing the vehicle to leave the roadway. No medical attention was needed and alcohol was not a factor.

Unalakleet

Disturbance; At approximately 9:32 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance in Unalakleet. Nome Troopers were notified.

Gambell

Sexual Abuse of a Minor; At approximately 10:52 a.m. Alaska State Troopers in the Norton Sound Region received a report of a potential sexual assault of a minor. Investigation ongoing.

Stebbins

Assault – DV; At approximately 10:57 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a disturbance in Stebbins. Troopers contacted the complainant.

Brevig Mission

Civil Issue; At approximately 7:34 p.m., the

Alaska State Troopers in Brevig Mission received a call regarding trespassing from VPSOs. Troopers advised the complainant of their options.

Shaktoolik

Missing Person; At 6:19 a.m., Nome Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Missing Person in Shaktoolik. Investigation revealed the person was not missing.

Stebbins

Suspicious Circumstances; At approximately 2:30 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Stebbins received a call regarding a disturbance. Troopers responded.

Civil Issue; At approximately 9:22 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a civil issue. Complainants were advised of their options.

Koyuk

Assist Medical: At approximately 8:44 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of an individual that required medical attention in the Norton Sound Region, east of Koyuk.

Burglary; At approximately 4:40 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome were notified of a burglary that had already taken place.

Assist Agency; At approximately 5:35 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a request for assistance from Nome Police Department. Troopers assisted.

Nome

Animal Call; At approximately 8:58 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a report of a dog getting into a residential trash bin. Animal control was contacted.

Savoonga

Welfare Check; At approximately 1:53 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a VPO that had conducted a welfare check on a juvenile. Troopers transported the individual to the Norton Sound Hospital.

Nome

Search and Rescue; At approximately 8:01 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a call regarding a Search and Rescue regarding a shipwreck at Cape Nome. One person was recovered, and two more were still missing.
