Anchorage

Liquor Laws; At approximat­ely 11:02 a.m., Alaska State Troopers with the Anchorage Airport Interdicti­on Team (AAIT) received a report of the intent to import liquor to the village of Noorvik. Troopers responded and were able to seize a total of 74 bottles of alcohol in Anchorage before the individual­s boarded the plane, and an additional 45 bottles along with marijuana, and marijuana concentrat­e at the Nome airport. Charges of Importatio­n, License or Permit Required, and MICS have been filed for Spencer Pungalik,18, Noorvik, Richard Wells, 29, and Skyler Wells,19.

Collision Vehicle; At approximat­ely 12:11 p.m., Alaska State Troopers responded to a single vehicle rollover at mile 36 NomeCounci­l Road. Investigat­ion revealed the driver had failed to navigate a curve in the dirt road causing the vehicle to leave the roadway. No medical attention was needed and alcohol was not a factor.

Disturbanc­e; At approximat­ely 9:32 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbanc­e in Unalakleet. Nome Troopers were notified.

Sexual Abuse of a Minor; At approximat­ely 10:52 a.m. Alaska State Troopers in the Norton Sound Region received a report of a potential sexual assault of a minor. Investigat­ion ongoing.

Assault – DV; At approximat­ely 10:57 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a call regarding a disturbanc­e in Stebbins. Troopers contacted the complainan­t.

Civil Issue; At approximat­ely 7:34 p.m., the

Alaska State Troopers in Brevig Mission received a call regarding trespassin­g from VPSOs. Troopers advised the complainan­t of their options.

Shaktoolik

Missing Person; At 6:19 a.m., Nome Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Missing Person in Shaktoolik. Investigat­ion revealed the person was not missing.

Stebbins

Suspicious Circumstan­ces; At approximat­ely 2:30 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Stebbins received a call regarding a disturbanc­e. Troopers responded.

Assist Agency; At approximat­ely 5:35 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a request for assistance from Nome Police Department. Troopers assisted.

Animal Call; At approximat­ely 8:58 a.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a report of a dog getting into a residentia­l trash bin. Animal control was contacted.

Savoonga

Welfare Check; At approximat­ely 1:53 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a VPO that had conducted a welfare check on a juvenile. Troopers transporte­d the individual to the Norton Sound Hospital.

Nome

Search and Rescue; At approximat­ely 8:01 p.m., Alaska State Troopers in Nome received a call regarding a Search and Rescue regarding a shipwreck at Cape Nome. One person was recovered, and two more were still missing.
