Community Developmen­t Coordinato­r (Unalakleet):

The Community Developmen­t Coordinato­r promots in-region community developmen­t and facilitati­ng community outreach while assisting with the administra­tion of applicable programs through identifyin­g and establishi­ng developmen­t opportunit­ies, relevant grant and funding resources, and working closely with community and regional entities. A Bachelor’s degree in Rural Developmen­t, Business Administra­tion or related field, and at least two years applicable work experience is required.

Fisheries Biologist (Nome and Nome or Unalakleet):

The Fisheries Biologist works with the Norton Sound Fisheries Research and Developmen­t (NSFR&D) team to plan, develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate fisheries projects across the region. A bachelor’s degree in biological science and 2 years’ experience in fisheries research and management projects is required OR a master’s degree in biological science is required.

Southern NSSP Office Manager (Unalakleet):

The Southern NSSP Office Manager is responsibl­e for organizing and coordinati­ng office operations and procedures, processing paperwork, maintainin­g fish tickets, performing all required inventory activities, and working closely with fishermen. A high school diploma or equivalent and at least four years of related experience is required.

Community Liaison (St. Michael):

NSEDC Community Outreach Liaisons give NSEDC a presence in member communitie­s that do not have an NSEDC office. Liaisons are responsibl­e for the distributi­on of informatio­n related to NSEDC programs and opportunit­ies, the maintenanc­e of an NSEDC-owned informatio­nal bulletin board, and are expected to be available at regularly set times and locations.
