Miscellaneous: On 01/05/22 at approximately 9:44 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a tip regarding illegal alcohol importation. AST is investigating.

Stebbins

Escape or Evade: On 01/05/22 at approximately 10:30 a.m., Alaska State Troopers arrested Shawnique Kamkoff, 21, of Stebbins who previously had been evading capture. Investigation revealed he had violated his conditions of release and left the Stebbins Jail without posting bail. He was arrested and transported to AMCC.

Deceased Person: On 01/06/22 at approximately 8:57 a.m., Alaska State Troopers received a report of a Deceased Individual. Peter Martin, 72, was identified. No foul play is suspected, and the next of kin has been notified.

Search and Rescue: On 01/06/22 at approximately 9:39 p.m., Alaska State Troopers received a request for a SAR. An individual was reported overdue from a moose hunt. The investigation is ongoing.
