New Canaan home is close to schools, town and parks
Located on coveted Elm Place in southern New Canaan, this colonial gem might be 17 years old, but it sure does not seem like that.
“The best feature of this house is its mint condition. It’s 17 years young, not 17 years old,” said listing agent PJ Taylor of Halstead Connecticut. “It’s a light-filled perfect home for someone who wants to be close to schools, the town and parks.”
The five-bedroom, four and one-half bath home light gray home has a lower level, main level, second level and third level.

Immediately right of the foyer is a living room that extends from the front of the house to the back of the house. There is also a powder room off the foyer on the right.
The second level has four bedrooms including the master suite. The bedroom features two nicesized walk-in closets with built-in drawers and shelving. The master bath is marble grey and white with a whirlpool tub and a shower. The bathroom also boasts radiant heated floors.
The three other bedrooms, Taylor said, are all generously sized and are en suite. This level is also where the laundry room is located.

The floor plan of the home, which has more than 5,000square-feet including the basement, Taylor said, “allows for casual entertaining inside and outside.”
Outside the home, Taylor noted, “is a perfectly manicured front and backyard with lots of privacy. The back-level yard is gated on account of the pool.”
