Andrew J. DiGiambatt­ista, 57, of Norwalk, CT passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020. Andrew fought bravely against the Covid19 virus. Born on June 11, 1962 to Sam and Jenny DiGiambatt­ista. He is survived by his brothers Stephen, Matthew (Elisa), Jonathan (Belinda), nephew Sam and niece Claudia. Andrew is also survived by his life partner of 32 years, Frank Kimball.

Andrew began dancing while in High School at Waynflete, in Portland, Maine. Andrew attended North Carolina School of Dance. He returned to Portland, Maine where he joined Portland Ballet as a ballet instructor, dancer, and choreograp­her. Throughout his career in Portland, Andrew also danced with Casco Bay Movers and Ram Island Dance Company.

In 1991, Andrew moved to Rochester, New York where he taught and choreograp­hed at The Orcutt Botsford School of Dance. In 1995, Andrew moved to Norwalk, CT where he taught, danced, and choreograp­hed at Sono Dance Academy.

For many years, Andrew was employed with Starbucks, Darien, CT. There he developed many lasting friendship­s with his coworkers and customers.

Andrew loved traveling, spending time in the Adirondack­s, Maine, Stone Harbor, NJ, and Florida. He was an avid reader, gardener, a history, and nature buff. Andrew was easy to love. He was true to his friends and touched the lives of many.
