Lucile DiMeglio, 82, passed away on May 31, 2022, at her home. She was able to see her 5 grandchild­ren the day before she passed. Lucile was born in Auburn, New York to the late John and Mafalda Derbini.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph, of 61 years; her daughters, Sharon Peterson and her husband Jeff and Joanne Lehning; her grandchild­ren, Rhiann Peterson, William Lehning, Sara Peterson, Hailey Lehning and Kevin Lehning; her brother, Tom Derbini and wife Joan and many nieces and nephews.

She was predecease­d by her twin sister, Linda Barrows.

Lucile was an avid golfer and loved her time living on a golf course in Naples, Florida for 5 years. She loved going to watch her grandchild­ren in any activities they were in; she loved to sew and helped make many quilts for quilts for care who makes quilts for cancer patients.

She loved playing cards, going to the casino, and having a good time. Lucile was a long time resident of Norwalk before moving to Watertown to be closer to her children and grandchild­ren while they were growing up.

The family would like to thank the Middlebury Vitas Hospice Care for their kind and loving support.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield. A service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
