Robert A. LeBrun, Sr. (93), of Norwalk, Connecticu­t, passed away on February 12, 2023. Born in New York City, son of the late Robert and Loretta LeBrun, he was the loving husband of Clotilde (Nellie) Caratone LeBrun for 67 years.

A Norwalk resident since 1955, he was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, past Commander Flotilla 72; Neptune Boat Club; and South Norwalk Boat Club. The State University of New York was where he received his degree in Industrial Relations, and he retired from Pitney Bowes as Corporate Compensati­on Consultant.

He was a U.S. Navy Veteran and served as Aviation Machinist Mate, Second Class 1948-1952. He was deployed during the Korean War aboard the USS Philippine Sea 1950-1951; and the USS Valley Forge 1951-1952.

Besides his wife, Nellie, Bob is survived by his children: Robert LeBrun, Jr. and his wife Karen, Peter LeBrun and his partner Susan, Janet Lee, and Susan Perrone and her husband John. His five beloved grandchild­ren; Stephanie LeBrun, Robert LeBrun, III (Nicole), Alex LeBrun (Shannon), Kristy Nolan (Brian), and Katy Cotaling (Connor). And three great grandchild­ren; Olivia LeBrun, Tyler Nolan and Austin Cotaling. He was pre-deceased by his daughter-in-law Anne Bruce LeBrun.

There was nothing he was more proud of than his family. He will be missed, but we will always have his smiles, his sense of humor and his extraordin­ary kindness to carry us through.

Calling hours will be at The Magner Funeral Home 12 Mott Avenue Norwalk, CT on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 4-8PM. Funeral will be private.
