Blake Baksay, Fairfield Prep:
Scored twice, including the gamewinner, in a 4-2 win over Notre Dame-Fairfield in the Division I quarterfinals. Had a goal and three assists in a 5-0 semifinal win over Greenwich. Scored the second goal in a 3-0 win over Notre Dame-West Haven for the Division I championship.
Tyler Bassett, Notre DameFairfield:
Scored all four goals in a 4-2 win over Xavier in the first round of the Division I tournament.
Tye Battipaglia, Notre DameWest Haven:
Two goals and an assist in a 5-0 win over Ridgefield in the Division I quarterfinals.
Maxx Corradi, Woodstock Academy:
Three goals and two as- sists in an 8-5 win over Branford in the Division II semifinals.
Connor Crowley, Notre DameWest Haven: Made 23 saves to help withstand a New Canaan push on the way to a 5-1 win in the Division I semifinals.
Gabe Deist, Trumbull: Made 40 saves in a 4-1 win over Cheshire in the Division II first round.
Aidan Elders, Darien: Scored twice in an 8-1 win over the West Haven co-op in the Division I first round.
Gavin Fitzpatrick, New Canaan: Scored four points in a 9-0 win over Hamden to start the Division I tournament and scored the game-winner in a 4-1 win over Darien in the quarterfinals.
Josh Grimm, Newington coop: Scored twice in a 5-1 win over Staples to open the Division III tournament.
James Heber, Fairfield Prep:
Stopped 17 shots in a 5-0 semifinal win over Greenwich, then stole the show in the Division I final with 42 saves in a 3-0 win over Notre DameWest Haven.
Greg Hilinski, Fairfield Prep: Defenseman scored twice in a 5-0 win over Greenwich in the Division I semifinals.
Blake Ittleson, Conard: Earned back-to-back shutouts to start the Division III tournament with a 3-0 win over E.O. Smith/Tolland and a 4-0 win over JBWA.
Kyle Kundrath, Rocky Hill coop: Shut out New Milford 3-0 as the Division III Terriers became just the second 15th seed to win a CIAC tournament game since 2008.
Colby LaSalle, Notre DameFairfield: Stopped 27 shots in a 4-2 win over Xavier in the first round of the Division I tournament. Kept the Lancers in it in the quarterfinals with 34 saves in a 4-2 loss to Fairfield Prep.
Mike Loomis, Branford: Scored a goal in a 3-1 win over South Windsor to start the Division II tournament and scored twice in a 5-2 win over Trumbull in the quarterfinals.
Alex Petersen, North Haven:
Scored seven playoff goals: Had a hat trick and an assist in an 8-0 win over Sheehan in the Division II first round. Had two goals and an assist in a 5-2 win over Hand in the quarterfinals. Scored the goal in a 1-0 win over North Branford in the semifinals. Scored the championship-winning goal in overtime in a 2-1 win over Woodstock Academy.
Bryce Petersen, North Haven: Made 15 saves for a shutout in a 1-0 win over North Branford in the Division II semifinals. Stopped 34 of 35 Woodstock Academy shots in a 2-1 overtime win in the final.
Harrison Ranger, Newington co-op:
Scored two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 4-1 Division III quarterfinal win over the Enfield co-op. Also had a goal and an assist in a 3-2 win over BBD in the first round. Scored the short-handed game-winner in a 3-2 win over the Rocky Hill co-op in the semifinals.
Bailey Rozmus, Greenwich: Scored in overtime to beat Northwest Catholic 3-2 in the first round of the Division I tournament. Assisted on Logan Carino’s overtime goal to beat Simsbury 1-0.
Drew Scalia, Masuk: Scored twice in a 3-1 win over Conard in the Division III semifinals. Had a hat trick and an assist on the first four Masuk goals of a 6-3 win over the Newington co-op as the Panthers won their first championship.
C.J. Sherwood, North Branford:
Scored two goals and two assists in the Thunderbirds’ Division II first-round upset of defending champion Wethersfield, a 5-4 win. Also scored the first goal of their 3-1 quarterfinal win over the East Haven co-op.
Donny Sousa, Woodstock Academy:
Scored three points in each of the Centaurs’ first two Division II wins, 5-0 over Glastonbury in the first round and 6-2 over Westhill/Stamford in the quarterfinals, for three goals and three assists. Added a goal and four assists in the semifinals, an 8-5 win over Branford.
Kyle Sutfin, Masuk: Scored three goals and two assists in an 8-3 win over the Southington co-op in the Division III first round.
