The Detroit Catholic Central boys soccer team grabbed a 2-0win overU-D Jesuit on Thursday night.
Vincent Stockton and Will Matt found the net for the Shamrocks, while Ali Jaffer and Jack Leuker each had an assist.
SEAHOLM4, ROCHESTER0
Birmingham Seaholm moved to 3-1-2 on the season and 1-1-2 in the OAA Red on Thursday with a win over Rochester.
Gabe Karamanian had three goals to lead Seaholm in the win, while Dylan Genzlinger also scored. Leo Adams and Zayd Faraj combined for the shutout in net.
WALLED LAKE WESTERN 4, WATERFORDMOTT0
Walled Lake Western earned a Lakes Valley Conference win overWaterford Mott on Thursday night, besting Mott 4-0.
Jude Eragbai had two goals to lead the Warriors in the win. Luke Karifs and Kieran MacBeth also found the net.
Volleyball CLAW SON SWEEPS HAZEL PARK
The Clawson volleyball teamimproved to 3-0 in the MAC Silver and 5-2 overall on Thursday with a 25-14, 25-5, 25-12 win over Hazel Park.
Aliyah Vesper led Clawson with 12 kills and six digs. Charlie Verner added eight kills and five digs. Anna Smith recorded 26 assists.
Boys tennis
ROYALOAK8, SOUTHFIELD A&T0
The Royal Oak boys varsity tennis defeated Southfield A&T 8-0 on Thursday.
The Ravens improves to 12-4 with the win. Holding their opponents to zero games won were Cameron Weiss, Ethan Hamlin and Bailey Needham in singles. The third doubles team of Parker Major and Thomas Romito held their opponent to zero games also.
Girls golf SOUTHLYONEAST190, LAKELAND215
The South Lyon East golf teamgrabbed a 190-215win over Lakeland on Thursday afternoon.
The Eagles were led by Gretchen Ullrich, who carded a 49. Bryn Dubin shot a 53 for Lakeland, while Sana Singh posted a 54, and Kathryn Tooman had a 59.
