Lakers, Wolves Shamrocks top rankings forWeek 3
The 2020 football season is through two weeks of a six-week regular season. Here are the latest Oakland County rankings:
1.
West Bloomfield (2- 0) – Slotback Mekhi Elam is the X factor for the L-Boys offense this fall.
2.
Clarkston (2-0) – Senior receiver Logan Forbes plays like C-Town’s own version of Julian Edelman.
3.
Novi Detroit Catholic Central (2- 0) – Expect junior Kam Davenport to have a breakout campaign on both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and cornerback in 2020, and then as a recruit in the offseason.

Lake Orion (1- 0) – Fresh out of the box and looking like world beaters.

Orchard Lake St. Mary’s (1-1) – The defending Catholic League Central champions took it on the chin on the road against Warren De La Salle Saturday afternoon, but the Eaglets are too talented and disciplined to lose focus.

Stoney Creek (2- 0) – Maybe the most underrated O-Line in Metro Detroit right now.
7.
Birmingham Brother Rice (1-1) – Baseball stud Jake
Coulter is coming into his own as a certified gemof a field general and appears ready to join the program’s storied pantheon of Warrior pocket princes.

Walled LakeWestern (1-1) – Back to high-f lying form……as expected.

Pontiac Notre Dame Prep (2- 0) – Locked and loaded. 10( tie). Birmingham Detroit Country Day (1-0) – Spirited debut, ‘Jackets look primed once again. 10( tie). Ortonville Brandon (2- 0) – Flint Metro champs in the making, all praise Coach Zuby!
