Three additional suspects have been arrested and taken into custody in connection with a Dec. 30 fatal shooting in South Lyon.

Last week a 19-yearold Ann Arbor man was charged in the killing of Dylan Stamper, 17. The shooting, which took place inside the family’s home, also left Dylan’s father, Kevin Stamper, 43, in critical condition at an area hospital.

Fadi Jesus Zeineh turned himself into Ann Arbor Police on Jan. 1 accompanied by his attorney as South Lyon police were unable to immediately locate him following the shooting. On Jan. 4, he was formally charged with first- degree felony murder, a charge that, if convicted, carries a mandatory life sentence without parole.

David Williams, chief assistant Oakland County prosecutor, confirmed to MediaNews Group on Monday that those three additional suspects have been arrested and taken into custody. It’s unclear when those three individuals were taken into custody and what their involvement in the shooting may have been.

He said the prosecutor’s office is awaiting additional information before making any decisions on potential charges for the three suspects. He said more information could be forthcoming Wednesday about the additional suspects.

The South Lyon Police Department is expected to release more information about the additional suspects soon, according to Police Chief Chris Sovik.

Zeineh, who recently violated his probation on retail fraud charges out of Washtenaw County, was also charged with nine additional felony counts, including five counts of possessing a firearm in the commission of a felony, all carrying 2-year sentences, and four counts of armed robbery, all carrying life sentences.

Sovik has said that evidence suggests that Zeineh knew Dylan Stamper and that the shooting was “not random.”

In court on Jan. 4 Sgt. Sam Marzban, lead Oakland County Sheriff’s Office detective on the case, said evidence suggests that Zeineh went to the Stamper home to buy marijuana from Dylan before turning a gun on him.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help pay for funeral expenses, with more than $12,800 pledged.

Zeineh’s next scheduled court date is a probable cause conference at 9 a.m. on Jan. 13. His examination has been scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 20, according to police.
