Bloomfield Hills gets past Troy, 55-49

Boys basketball

BLOOMFIELD HILLS 55, TROY 49

Bloomfield Hills picked up another win on Thursday night, rallying to beat Troy 55-49.

Noah Adamczyk had 18 points to lead the Black Hawks, while Mason Canfield scored 12 points and had five assists.

Ethan Emerzian led Troy with 22 points.

ADAMS 42, STONEY CREEK 39

Rochester Adams edged Stoney Creek on Thursday night with a 42-39 victory.

Trevor Smith Jr. had 18 points to lead the Cougars in their effort.

TROY ATHENS 49, SEAHOLM 35

The Troy Athens boys basketball team earned a 49-35 win over Birmingham Seaholm on Thursday night.

Jordan Sebagh led the Red Hawks in the win with 15 points while Michael Justice scored 12.

LAMPHERE 53, CLAWSON 34

Madison Heights Lamphere picked up a 53-34 win over Clawson on Thursday night in MAC play.

Freshman Andrew Kimbrough had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead the Rams in the win, while Brady Robinson scored 10 points and KJ Whitman added 10 assists and six steals.

Alex Cordone had 10 points to lead the Trojans, while Kyle Gougeon scored eight.

LAKELAND 47, KETTERING 38

Lakeland picked up a Lakes Valley Conference win over Waterford Kettering on Thursday, 47-38.

Lakeland (6-3, 4-1 LVC) was led by Caleb Zurek, who had 21 points.

Bennie Crenshaw scored 30 points to lead the Captains (6-5, 2-4).

ROCHESTER 54, ROYAL OAK 50

Rochester found its way to a 54-50 win over Royal Oak on Thursday night.

Mark Williams II led Rochester with 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Matt

Stone added nine points for the Falcons.

Dylan Hoffmann had 15 points to lead the Ravens on the night, while Jack Norton scored 13.

WL NORTHERN 65, DETROIT WESTERN 54

The Walled Lake Northern boys basketball team improved to 6-2 on the season Thursday with a 65-54 win over Detroit Western.

Jesse Lawson Jr. had 17 points to lead the Knights, while Kevyn Robertson scored 12. Johnny Archer added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

SOUTHFIELD CHRISTIAN 88, CRANBROOK 54

The Southfield Christian boys basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season with an 88-54 win over Cranbrook Kingswood on Thursday.

Mickey Lividini had 25 points to lead the Eagles (81) while Verian Patrick had 20 points with eight assists.

Miles Pistner led Cranbrook with 17 points.

MADISON 51, CENTERLINE 43

The Madison Heights Madison boys basketball team defeated Centerline on Thursday night, 51-43.

Malik Davis had 15 points, five rebounds and four blocks to lead Madison in the win. Quentin

Jones added 12 points and nine rebounds.

LIGGETT 60, SHRINE 41

Royal Oak Shrine fell to Grosse Pointe Woods University Liggett on Thursday, 60-41.

Stephen Ruhle led Shrine with 15 points while Ben Plunkey scored 11.

Girls basketball LAKELAND 50, KETTERING 26

The Lakeland girls basketball team earned a 5026 win over Waterford Kettering on its Senior Night.

Molly Libby led the Eagles (5-4, 4-1 LVC) in the win with 20 points while Summer Ambler and Jenna Baer each scored seven.

OXFORD 46, LAPEER 35

The Oxford girls basketball team picked up a nonconfere­nce win over Lapeer on Thursday night.

Mackie Methner scored 16 points to lead the Wildcats (7-3) while Brooke Zeiter had seven.

INTER-CITY BAPTIST 50, SOUTHFIELD CHRISTIAN 38

The Southfield Christian girls basketball team fell to Inter-City Baptist on Thursday, 50-38.

Rachel Cairo had 16 points to lead the Eagles, while Kayla Webber had 13.
