Rochester Hills – Kenneth Lee Washington. Born December 19, 1949 in Washington D.C. Passed away on April 9, 2021, at age 71 in Rochester Hills, MI. He retired as Regional Manager of General Motors Minority Dealer Developmen­t in 2009. He loved basketball and was a member of the Masters Basketball Asas sociation they traveled to Chicago, Buffalo, Florida, Utah, and Toronto. Ken was also an avid golfer. Ken graduated from Eastern High School in Washington, D.C. He was an Alumnus of Hampton University in Virginia and earned an MBA from Southern Illinois University. Ken served as president of the Washington-Bannister-Brock Family Reunion. Spending time with his family and friends was dear to his heart. He was the loving husband of Edna Maria Washington, dear father of Kenneth (K.J.) Wash(Lenox) ington, Jr., as well as Michelle McKenzie, Meghan (James) Desy, and the late Markis Washington. Cherished grandfathe­r of Lennox III “Lee” and Matthew McKenzie. Brothers: Darrie, Norfather man and Albert. Preceded in death by his Lee Washington and mother Frances (Thomasson) Washington. Survived by aunts, cousins, family, and friends. Visitation is Sunday, April 18 from 3-8 p.m. at Potere-Modetz Funeral Home, 339 Walnut Blvd., Rochester, MI 48307, 248-65-8137.
