YOUNG, SUZANN LAROSE

Suzann LaRose Young, Age 81 of Lake Orion. September 22, 2021 Loving wife of the late Morris Young and sister of the late Julie. She is survived by Bill Gotts, her companion and BFF for over twenty years. Cherished cousin of Gloria Lacy (David), Joann Palaian (Art), Joyce Raczka (Peter) Amanda Rose (Dave), and many other cousins. Suzann retired from a long and successful career as an art teacher in West Bloom

designs together as well as designing many outstanding projects with her students. Her formal education, a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wayne State University and a Master’s Degree at Oakland University, only enhanced her natural artistic abilthe Woodward Dream Cruise with her red Corvette, dance, cruise on her Sea Ray boat as well as venture on world cruises. One of her favorite activities was to decorate lavishly at Christmas. Her antique business was a passion that she continued for her lifetime, traveling all over the United States to purchase merchandise. She truly loved her family and friends dearly. Her dog, Dusty, was a very important part of her life. Visitation will take place on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 3-6 p.m. at the Modetz Funeral Home, 100 E. Silverbell Rd. Orion. A graveside service will be held on Monday, 11:30 a.m. at the Rose Hill Cemetery, 4309 Puttygut Rd., East China Township, Michigan. Please arrive at the Young Funeral Home at 4061 St. Clair Hwy.,
