Girls basketball

BIRMINGHAM MARIAN 42, GABRIEL RICHARD 39 (OT)

Sarah Sylvester netted 15 points and teammate Ella Ervin tossed in eight more as the Mustangs hung on to win a tough Caholic League Central Division battle.

FARMINGTON HILLS MERCY 51, WARREN REGINA 25

Aizlyn Albanese scored a game-high 15 points and Sophie Dugas added 10 more to power Mercy. Avery Sikorski scored a team-high 11 for Regina.

Mercy is now 7-2 overall, 3-1 in the Catholic League Central Division.

WEST BLOOMFIELD 62, BIRMINGHAM GROVES 15

The Lakers went on the road and had a field day at the Falcons’ expense.

Leading the charge for West Bloomfield were India Davis and Summer Davis with 17 points apiece.

MILFORD 48, WALLED LAKE WESTERN 32

Junior guard Emma Cassatta accounted for 20 of West Bloomfield’s total in defeat. Teammate Ryan Geisler, a sophomore guard, chipped in with six point.

NORTH FARMINGTON 46, OXFORD 34

Sela Lefler netted 17 points to go with five steals for the Raiders. Other contributi­ons came from Ekuza Muller (nine points, six rebounds; Penelope

Creary (seven points, five steals); Asiyah Jihad (four points, 10 rebounds and Hannah Hart (four points, eight steals)

The Raiders improve to 6-2 overall, 3-2 in the OAA White.

CLARKSTON 50, STONEY CREEK 43

Maddy Skorupski scored a game-high 35 for the Wolves. Leading the way for Stoney Creek were Sydney Laprairie with 16 points, seven rebounds and Mia Carson with 15 points, seven rebounds.

LAKE ORION 38, TROY ATHENS 35

Chloe Wiegers led all scorers with 19 points, eight steals for Lake Orion. Grace Sullivan and Lexie Stroschein chipped in with six and five points, respective­ly.

Gillian Ciak (14 points, six rebounds, four steals) and Bekah Delia (10 points, 12 rebounds) led the way for Athens in a losing effort.

Lake Orion is now 9-1 overall, 5-0 in the OAA White.

Boys basketball

MADISON 66, CENTER LINE 22

Damian Harvey Jr. (20 points, seven steals, four asists, three rebounds) led a balanced attack for the Eagles. Other contributo­rs cam from Darrius Neal (14 points, 11 rebounds, two blocks, two steals); Desmond Denham (12 points, six assists, five rebounds, two steals); Keanu Mills (13 points, nine rebounds); and Davon Ruffin eight points, seven rebounds, six steals).

ROCHESTER 76, DAVISON 69

Armaan Hussaini was a scoring machine, pouring in a game-high 35 points for the Falcons.
