Rebuilding Day will help repair 26 homes
MORE THAN 1,000 VOLUNTEERS WITH REBUILDING TOGETHER OKC ARE HELPING OUT
Home renovation can be costly and time-consuming, but for many elderly and impoverished homeowners in Oklahoma City, it can be overwhelming or impossible, which is why Rebuilding Together OKC steps in.
More than 1,000 volunteers with the nonprofit will participate in Rebuilding Day on Saturday and help repair and restore the homes of 26 people in a northeast Oklahoma City neighborhood.
Rebuilding Together OKC will work in the Culbertson East Highland neighborhood. Home improvements will include vital weatherization, structural repairs and safety upgrades.
This is the second year for the organization to tackle an entire neighborhood. Last year, it was ClassenTen-Penn.

Rebuilding Together OKC brings volunteers and communities together to improve the homes and lives of low-income homeowners. Since 1992, about 50,000 volunteers have helped Rebuilding Together OKC update and refurbish more than 2,000 homes, 30 nonprofit facilities and eight public school buildings, a value of more than $20 million to the communities they serve.
