WADE’S COUSIN KILLED IN CHICAGO

A woman who was fatally shot while pushing a baby in a stroller on Chicago’s South Side has been identified as a cousin of NBA star WLS in Chicago reported, citing a Wade family member.

Authorities say the 32-year-old victim, whose name was not immediately available, was killed when two males walked up and fired shots at a third man about 3:30 p.m. Friday. Police say the woman was not the intended target.

Police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office say the woman suffered gunshot wounds to her head and an arm.

Police say the baby wasn’t hurt, and a relative has taken custody of the child. Family spokesman Pastor says the victim was a mother of four and was walking to register her children for school. He says the family recently moved to the neighborhood. Police say one of the males who fired shots was being questioned Friday evening.
