REALTORS PLAN FORUM ON QUAKES
The Central Oklahoma Commercial Association of Realtors will present a Commercial Real Estate Forum on earthquakes from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at Will Rogers Theatre, 4322 N Western Ave. The town hall-style event will focus on the increasing frequency and magnitude of earthquakes and how they are impacting commercial real estate in Oklahoma.
Speakers will include Jeremy Boak, Ph.D, director of the Oklahoma State Geological Survey; Christopher Ramseyer, Ph.D, director of Fears Structural Engineering Lab at the University of Oklahoma; and Buddy Combs, director of public policy and assistant general counsel of the Oklahoma Insurance Department.
The National Association of Realtors provided a Commercial Innovation Grant for the event, which is approved for three hours of continuing education credits for real estate licensees. For more information, email info@cocar.org.
