REALTORS PLAN FORUM ON QUAKES

The Central Oklahoma Commercial Associatio­n of Realtors will present a Commercial Real Estate Forum on earthquake­s from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at Will Rogers Theatre, 4322 N Western Ave. The town hall-style event will focus on the increasing frequency and magnitude of earthquake­s and how they are impacting commercial real estate in Oklahoma.

Speakers will include Jeremy Boak, Ph.D, director of the Oklahoma State Geological Survey; Christophe­r Ramseyer, Ph.D, director of Fears Structural Engineerin­g Lab at the University of Oklahoma; and Buddy Combs, director of public policy and assistant general counsel of the Oklahoma Insurance Department.

The National Associatio­n of Realtors provided a Commercial Innovation Grant for the event, which is approved for three hours of continuing education credits for real estate licensees. For more informatio­n, email info@cocar.org.
