WORKSHOPS
•TOOL SHARPENING WORKSHOP, 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, CommonWealth Urban Farms, 3310 N Olie. Learn how to make broken and worn tools useful again. Bring small tools to the workshop and get hands-on experience on sharpening or repairing your own tools. Cost is $5 paid on location.
•EXTENDING YOUR GARDENING SEASON, 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 14, Oklahoma County Cooperative Extension Service, 2500 NE 63. If you are looking for ways to harvest tomatoes through to Thanksgiving or maybe wanted a fresh homegrown salad past Halloween, then be sure to check out September’s Oklahoma County Master Gardeners Association Wednesdays at Will Rogers Gardens. Presentation will feature cold frames to row covers and everything in between. This presentation is part of the Small Space, Big Garden Series.
