Teen charged in deadly robbery
The 17-year-old accused of fatally shooting a Midwest City store clerk Sept. 17 was charged Monday in Oklahoma County District Court with first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm.
Samuel Edward Myers is charged as an adult in the robbery and shooting of Salman Tahir, 33.
Myers is described as being from Foster, records show.
Tahir was a well-liked clerk at GI’s Market, 10001 NE 10.
Police reported Tahir was shot in the back after a robber took about $200 from the register.
The victim died after being taken to a hospital, police reported.
Myers was arrested Saturday in Oklahoma City, police said.
He is being held in the Oklahoma County jail.
