Register now for Spike’s Club at museum
Young explorers can dive into topics like dinosaur babies, Oklahoma animals, ugly bugs and distant galaxies as part of the spring semester’s Spike’s Club workshops, sponsored by the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History.
The after-school program for young people has a new format, said Carrie McKenzie, the museum’s public programs coordinator. “Instead of signing up for a group of programs, each of our four sessions now focuses on a new topic, so kids can come to just one workshop or come to them all,” McKenzie said. “Spike’s Club is a great opportunity for kiddos to have fun with science after school.” Spike’s Club, for children 6 to 9 years old, takes place from 4 to 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month, from February through May.
