THE VICTIMS:

1. Keyatta Howell, 26, shot March 11 in a convenienc­e store parking lot at 1800 N Martin Luther King Avenue. Prosecutor­s charged Brandon Douglas Wilson with his murder.

2. Donald Roy Johnson, 25, shot May 9 in the parking lot of Liberty Station Apartments, 2700 N Lindsay Avenue. Prosecutor­s charged Demarea Johnson, who is not related to the victim, with his murder.

3. Robert D. Sango, 24, shot May 31 at 1504 NE 30. The district attorney declined to file charges in this case, police reported, saying Sango was shot by a man after pointing a BB gun that resembled a real firearm at the man during an attempted break in.

4. Devra Gail Crutcher, 49, and Adrian Lyndell Hawthorne, 24, died in a double homicide. Police found their bodies on June 20 inside a black Nissan Altima near NE 15 and N Highland Drive. Their bodies had signs of trauma, according to police. No one has been arrested in their deaths.

5. Reynold Ranard Walker, 22, shot Aug. 10 at 2046 NE 29. Prosecutor­s charged Nicholas Williams, Michael R. Timmons and Mario Spicer with his murder.

6. Prince Williams, 18 days old, died Aug. 23 in the 900 block of East Drive. Prosecutor­s charged Ron Deshawn Turner with his murder. Turner is accused of smothering the infant to stop rumors that he was the boy’s father. Turner also is accused of sexually abusing the infant’s 13-year-old mother.

7. Greg Hill, 52, shot Aug. 27 at 711 NE 26. Prosecutor­s charged Jimmy L. Simms with his murder.

8. Julian Kaye Price, 24, killed Dec. 26 in the 3200 block of N Lindsay Avenue. Prosecutor­s charged her boyfriend, Stephen Jerome Lewis, with her murder. Price had bruises on her body “consistent with being assaulted,” and a witness saw Lewis choking Price, according to a probable cause affidavit.

9. Jamal Barkus, 41, shot Dec. 31 at 905 NE 19. No one has been arrested in his death, the city’s last homicide of 2016.
