OKLAHOMA CITY Deborah Jane Mauldin was born May 27, 1953 in Miami, Oklahoma to Hubert Doyle and Beverly Jane (Collins) Williamson. She passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 16, 2017, at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City following a brief and sudden illness. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1964 where Deborah was raised and spent the remainder of her life. A Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of U.S. Grant High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Oklahoma City University. At the time of her death, she was employed as an ER Nurse at both Integris Southwest Medical Center for over 27 years and also as an ER Nurse at Midwest City Regional Medical Center for over 10 years. A hardworkin­g, kind, caring, compassion­ate, helpful, intelligen­t, and inspiring nurse, she was truly dedicated to her chosen profession. She was admired and beloved by co-workers, staff, patients, and all with whom she came in contact. She was an incredible, awesome woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Her greatest joy was her family, especially her three grandchild­ren whom she loved dearly and delighted in spoiling. She took great pride in watching all of their activities and attending their special events. She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Doyle Williamson, and her infant daughter, Melynda Michelle Mauldin. Those left to cherish her memory are: husband, Michael Mauldin; two sons, Matthew Mauldin of Oklahoma City and Jeffrey (Jennifer) Mauldin of Mustang; daughter, Rebecca Mauldin of Oklahoma City; three grandchild­ren: Caige and Londyn Mauldin, and Bella Jane Mauldin-Cabello, all of Oklahoma City; mother, Beverly Williamson; three brothers: Kenneth (Kim) Williamson and Robert (Bonnie) Williamson, of Oklahoma City, and Doyle Eugene (Cathy) Williamson of Los Lunas, N.M.; two sisters, Mary Hurd of Stillwater, and Brenda (Larry) Blackwell of Oklahoma City; one half-sister, Rinko (Ervin) Lengerich of Castle Rock, CO; and many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was a member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church where a celebratio­n of life will be held at 10am on Friday, January 20th.
