St. Louis rallies back from deficit to beat No. 14 Cowboys

Saint Louis rallied from an early deficit to defeat No. 14 Oklahoma State, 10-7, Wednesday at Reynolds Stadium in Stillwater.

The Cowboys jumped to a 4-0 lead after two innings even though they had just one hit.

They scored twice in the first on four walks and a hit batsman.

They scored two more runs in the second on two walks and a 2-RBI triple by Garrett Benge of Yukon.

But Saint Louis erupted for five runs in the fourth, banging out six hits. Saint Louis never trailed after the fourth, adding another run in the fifth and two more in both the sixth and eighth.

Nick Reeser was 3-for-4 for the Billikens with two RBI, while Aaron Case had two hits and three RBI, including a 2-RBI triple in the fourth. St. Louis pounded out 18 hits in the game against 10 Cowboy pitchers.

Benge and Garrett McCain each had two hits for the Cowboys.

Matt Wilson (0-1) took the pitching loss for OSU.

The Cowboys (4-4) travel to Frisco, Texas, this weekend for the Frisco College Baseball Classic where they will meet Nebraska, Arizona and Arkansas on consecutiv­e days beginning Friday.
