Kansas, Oklahoma State are locked in

Kansas is the No. 1 seed, and OSU is No. 5. Staff writer Ryan Aber takes a look at the remaining seeding scenarios for the Big 12 Men’s Basketball Tournament scheduled next week.

Entering the final weekend of Big 12 regular-season men’s action, there are two spots set in stone for next week’s Big 12 Tournament in Kansas City.

Kansas, yet again, will be the tournament’s No. 1 seed, and Oklahoma State is locked into the No. 5 spot.

The other four games of the weekend, though, will help determine seedings for the tournament. When it comes to Oklahoma, Friday’s matchup between Iowa State and West Virginia will determine the Sooners seed if they finish tied with Texas.

Oklahoma won at West Virginia, while Texas beat Iowa State. If Iowa State and West Virginia finish tied, the Sooners would win the tiebreaker over the Longhorns because their victory came on the road. Here’s a look at the schedule and the scenarios for each team:
