The Oklahoman

‘Close to Home’ fishing waters

-

Through agreements between local municipalities and the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation, these small lakes and ponds offer public fishing in the Oklahoma City area.

In addition to state fishing license requirements, some municipalities require daily or annual city fishing permits. All bass fishing is catch and release in the designated “Close to Home” waters.
