Gill named, takes A-10 job

Keith Gill, who earned his master’s degree from OU in 2006 and served in various senior athletic administra­tion roles for the Sooners, was named A-10 Executive Associate Commission­er.

Gill was previously the athletic director at the University of Richmond, a post he took in 2012 after five years at American University.

Mitchell named Rider of the Year

Oklahoma State freshman Hannah

Mitchell was named the National Collegiate Equestrian Associatio­n Reining Rider of the Year.

The Cuba, Missouri, native finished her first year at OSU with a 10-2-1 record.

Former OU stars host camp

Former Oklahoma men’s basketball players Ryan Spangler and Jordan Woodard will host a youth basketball camp from June 19-21.

The camp is open to boys and girls, age 9-16. Registrati­on is open from May 19 to June 9 and the registrati­on cost is $150. Campers can register at NormanYout­hSports.org or pay $175 at the door.

Chadd, Prada earn academic honor

Mid-America Christian men’s golf seniors Nathan Chadd and Wilson Prada were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.

Chadd, a native of Wichita, Kansas, maintained a 3.79 GPA in Business/Marketing, while Prada, a Columbia, South America native, earned a 3.58 GPA in Business/Marketing.
