Man found slain in rural Garvin County
ELMORE CITY — A man was found dead Sunday morning southwest of Elmore City in Garvin County.
About 10:30 a.m., deputies found the man dead along East County Road 1690. The death is being investigated as a homicide, Sheriff Larry Rhodes said.
No arrests have been made, he said. No further details about the reported slaying were immediately released.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been asked to investigate the death, Rhodes said.
