Hield maintains strong work ethic in NBA

Former Oklahoma guard Buddy Hield is back in Norman for two days.

With the 2016 Naismith College Player of the Year recipient’s rookie season in the NBA and two new cities under his belt, Hield is back to host his own basketball camp in a place that feels like home.

It was different. I was in New Orleans where I had a lesser role, then I got traded and got back to what I was comfortable with. You had to adjust. Me, I was ready. I was thankful for the opportunity that was given to me, so just take advantage of the opportunities that you’ve got.
