Jerry P. Smith, of Edmond, OK, died on June 28, 2017, at the age of 88. He was born July 18, 1928, to Paul and Aline Smith in Ardmore, OK.

Jerry went to Capitol Hill High School, where he met his cherished wife of 66 years, Izella.

After serving in the Navy 1946–1948, he graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a degree in business administra­tion in 1952.

He spent 28 years of his profession­al career as a sales manager for micrograph­ic products for Kodak. He was responsibl­e for national and internatio­nal accounts and was transferre­d from Tulsa to Denver, Manhattan, Rochester, NY, Mexico City, and back to Rochester. In 1984, he and Izella retired to Edmond.

Jerry was a kind, gentle, man with a quick-witted humor and great integrity. He is beloved by his family, friends, schoolmate­s, co-workers, and all that have had the pleasure of his regular acquaintan­ce.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Izella; son, Stan Smith & his wife Ginna; daughter, Leigh Ann Smith & her husband Lee Davis; son, Paul Smith & his wife Kay Carley; daughter, Denise Smith Trimble, and her partner, Gary Baskin; and grandchild­ren, Pauline Davis, Jac Trimble, and Paul Trimble.

A Graveside Service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Mustang Cemetery, Mustang, OK.
