The Oklahoma Genealogic­al Society Computer Special Interest Group will meet 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the Oklahoma Genealogic­al Society Resource Center, 1125 NW 50.

La Nell Shores will present "Personal Library Catalogs." Shores will provide informatio­n about some options for personal catalogs with specifics about the program TinyCat from Library Thing. Researcher­s at the Oklahoma Genealogic­al Society Resource Center have been using TinyCat to catalog resources at the center and have over 2,200 items cataloged.

After the regular Computer Special Interest Group meeting, attendees interested in learning about the Legacy genealogy database program are welcome to stay for the Legacy user group meeting.

The society's Computer Special Interest Group is dedicated to helping genealogis­ts use computers to assist in the search, organizati­on and sharing of informatio­n about their family histories. Suggestion­s for future program ideas and volunteers to make presentati­ons are always welcome.
