Lincoln Terrace to welcome guests

The Lincoln Terrace Home Tour will be from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 with five stops.

Tickets cost $15, cash or check, on tour day at any of the tour homes. Pay by credit card at 627 NE 15.

Advance tickets are $12 online through Oct. 14. Go to lincolnter­race. org/hometour/. Exchange confirmati­on email for a tour booklet at any home. The booklet has a map and the admission ticket.

Homes on the tour are:

• 626 NE 15: Built in 1928, Jeff and Matt Wade.

• 627 NE 15: Built in the 1920s, Karen and Ed Petitt.

• 721 NE 15: Built in 1927, Teresa Rendon.

• 608 NE 18: Built in 1927, Stephanie and Aaron Corbett.

• 722 NE 18: Built in 1928, Stephanie and Kelly Ridgway.

No smoking, food or drink are allowed in the homes. All sales are final and the tour is held rain or shine. Children 6 and under admitted free. No strollers allowed inside the homes. There are no public restrooms on the tour.

The structures and areas on tour may not meet current building standards and may have other problems, hazards and/or defects including, but not limited to, narrow halls, irregular stairwells, uneven flooring and blind corners. The Lincoln Terrace Neighborho­od Associatio­n, members, homeowners assume no liability or responsibi­lity for accidents or injuries that may occur during the tour.

Proceeds from the home tour benefit the neighborho­od to help preserve the beauty and character of the neighborho­od.
