Prosecutors charged three Oklahoma City men with first-degree murder Thursday in an alleged September drug deal that turned fatal.

Trevion Marquise Moten, 22, Ronnie Eugene Brannon, 26, and Brandon Dwayne Johnson, 27, are accused in the shooting death of Joshua Williams, 28. The victim and another man, Kendal Richardson, met the three defendants about 7:50 p.m. Sept. 22 at a home in the 1600 block of NE 20 in Oklahoma City, police reported.

“It was believed a drug deal ensued and shots were fired resulting in Williams’ death,” police reported in a court affidavit.

The three defendants then fled the scene, police reported. Marijuana was found at the residence, police reported. Oklahoma County prosecutors also charged the defendants with drug trafficking.

Richardson, 27, had been arrested on a murder complaint after the shooting but has since been released from jail, records show.

Moten was arrested last week. Brannon and Johnson haven’t yet been arrested, jail officials said Thursday afternoon.
