OSU beats Kansas on Senior Day

Oklahoma State women’s soccer improves to 14-2-2 for the season following a 3-1 win on Sunday against Kansas in Stillwater.

Former Norman North standout Haley Woodard, former Tulsa Union star Anna Beffer and senior Laurene Tresfield each scored for the Cowgirls as they improved to 9-0 at home this season.

UCO to hold Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet

The University of Central Oklahoma will hold its 2017 Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet Friday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Nigh University ballroom.

The event is open to the public. Cost is $40 per ticket and includes entry to the banquet and a meal.

The UCO Athletic Hall of Fame is inducting former track & field and cross country coach Paul Parent (posthumous­ly), Mark Dodgen (Wrestling), Alma Brahimaj (Volleyball), George Hauser (Baseball), John Rogers (Baseball), and the 1982 NAIA national champion football team.

OSU men’s golf earns first place in Georgia

OSU men’s golf took first place at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Alpharetta, Ga., on Sunday.

The Cowboys finished the 15-team tournament at 27-under for an overall score of 837.

Oklahoma also competed at the tournament, finishing the three-day event tied for 11th place with an overall score of 855 (-9).
