Two killed in crashes on Oklahoma roads

Two people were killed in crashes on Oklahoma roadways, authoritie­s reported.

Dustin Allen Hoedebeck, 20, Colbert

Hoedebeck and Zachary Glenn Lovelance, 18, of Cartwright, were passengers in a sport utility vehicle driven by Mason Geter, 18, of Cartwright shortly after 2 p.m. Monday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Geter was driving east on SH 91 when he went off the right side of the roadway and the SUV overturned a number of times.

All three men were taken to a hospital in Denison, Texas, where Hoedebeck was pronounced dead. Geter was admitted in critical condition. Lovelance was treated and released.

The cause of the crash is under investigat­ion. No one in the SUV wore a seat belt, the patrol reports.

Unidentifi­ed woman

About 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the scene after reports of a car in a concrete drainage canal near SW 59 and S Walker Avenue, the Oklahoma City Police Department reported. The woman, who has not been identified, was found in the backseat of the vehicle wearing a seat belt.

An Oklahoma City Fire Department spokesman said the woman was not breathing, but had a pulse, and was taken to a hospital where she later died. The man, who also was not identified, was out of the car when firefighte­rs arrived and taken to a hospital in serious condition.
