Casady quarterback wins player of the week poll
Casady quarterback Parker Quillen has won The Oklahoman’s Fans’ Choice Player of the Week poll after a masterful Week 10 performance to close Casady’s season with a win.
Quillen placed ahead of Oklahoma Christian School quarterback Calyn Halvorson, finishing with 727 votes after passing for 254 yards and four touchdowns against Fort Worth Country Day.
Halvorson finished second with 581 votes, and Chandler quarterback Chabon Anderson, who was The Oklahoman’s staff pick for player of the week, finished fifth with 234 votes.

Westmoore heavily honored in COAC awards
Westmoore took home two of the top three honors within the Central Oklahoma Athletic Conference All-Conference football awards that were announced Monday.
Westmoore running back Braxton George was named Offensive Player of the Year and coach Lorenzo Williams was named Coach of the Year.
Stillwater’s Tyler Disidore was named Defensive Player of the Year.
