THANKSGIVING DAY MEALS IN OKC

Free Thanksgiving meals will be offered Thursday at locations across the metro area.

• The Jesus House will have a Thanksgiving Day meal from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 1335 W Sheridan Ave. For more information call 232-7164.

• City Rescue Mission will have a Thanksgiving Day meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 800 W California. Breakfast also will be provided from 7 to 8 a.m.

• Homeless Alliance Day Shelter will offer a Thanksgiving Day meal from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 1724 NW 4.

• The Edmond Community Thanksgiving Dinner is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the University of Central Oklahoma’s Nigh University Center. For more information, call 341-3602.

• The Salvation Army Central Oklahoma will have a Thanksgiving Day community meal from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Salvation Army Chesapeake Energy Center of Hope, 1001 N Pennsylvania Ave.

• Eastside Church of Christ will offer a free dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 916 S Douglas Blvd. Dinner will include turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, roll and desserts. For more information, call 732-0393.
