Feb. 16, 1938 - Nov. 13, 2017 DEL CITY Barbara Sue Palmer, 79, resident of Del City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2017 in Guthrie, Oklahoma with her loved ones by her side. She was born on February 16, 1938 in Tulsa, OK to Leroy Harold and Margerite Polumbus, Sr., siblings include Leroy Harold Polumbus, Jr., Mary Kazmierzak and Sandra Waggoner. She was married to the love of her life, Neil Blaine Palmer, Sr., on March 9, 1959, in California. She led a rich life serving the Lord and made countless friends in His name at every turn. She was an incredibly hard worker, but perhaps her most endearing attributio­ns were her kindness and loving nature. She made friends instantly, and always put the well-being of others ahead of her own. Her accomplish­ments are too numerous to list, but include having a vibrant Tupperware career, raising 7 children, ministerin­g to children at Sunny Lane Family Church for over 20 years and being a selfless steward for Christ. Barbara Sue's version of retirement was to help everyone she knew learn about Christ. She also helped many of them learn basic skills such as cooking and sewing which were her true passions. Barbara Sue was a ray of light, touching more lives than anyone can imagine, her loss will be felt by all that knew her. She is survived by five daughters Bonnie Palmer, Balinda (Randy Sr.) Callison, Blaina Palmer, Barbara Sue Christians­on, Bobbie (Raymond) Evans, her two sons, Neil (Elizabeth) Palmer Jr., Kenneth Palmer, 26 grandchild­ren, 30 greatgrand­children, 3 great-great grandchild­ren and one sister. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter-in-law (Christine Palmer), grandchild (Scott Hearl Callison), great grandchild (Elijah Moore), brother, and sister (Mary). Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Sunny Lane Family Church, 4221 S.E. 41st Street, Del City 73115. Memorial celebratio­n to follow service. Graveside services to be held November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Enberry Memorial Cemetery in Iowa. Jesus Loves My Sweet Angels.
