May 30, 1926 - Nov. 19, 2017 Victor Patrick Calhoun went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2017. He was born in Dothan, Alabama on May 30, 1926 to Emma and Raymon Calhoun. After attending school, he proudly served in both the Army and Air Force as an electronic­s and radar technician at various duty locations around the world. After military retirement, during his civil service career, he was an engine test mechanic at Tinker AFB while he earned his AA degree in Political Science at Rose State College. He met his wife Aleksandra (who predecease­d him in 2009) in Montgomery, Alabama. They were married on March 20, 1954 at Maxwell AFB. They were blessed with 3 daughters, Victoria, Barbara and Christine. They lived in several states and overseas during his military career before settling in Del City, Oklahoma. Victor was a member of Sunnylane United Methodist Church for over 40 years. He was active in Methodist Men and was a Communion Steward for several years. He is survived by daughters Victoria Inglima of Del City, granddaugh­ter Jane Inglima of Lindenhurs­t, New York, daughter Barbara Calhoun of Moore, Oklahoma and daughter Christine and husband Paul Waters, granddaugh­ter Cassie and her husband Tyler Garnett of Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be 10am Saturday November 25, 2017 at Sunnylane United Methodist Church, Del City, Oklahoma with interment at Sunny Lane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Sunnylane United Methodist Church.
